As concern grows around the new COVID-19 variant, President Joe Biden says omicron is cause for concern, not panic. The variant, first detected in South Africa, was identified in Canada yesterday.

The World Health Organization is working to develop best practices to combat the omicron variant and says to continue wearing a mask and getting vaccinated.

Guest: Dr. Michelle Aquino, hospitalist at Baptist Health in Jacksonville.

The nonprofit sector’s response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday is #GivingTuesday, an annual, one-day global movement to inspire hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

In 2020, nonprofits in the U.S. alone raised more than $2.47 billion on #GivingTuesday.
