Friday, Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Esther Byrd of Neptune Beach to the state Board of Education. Byrd would join the board pending Senate confirmation. Byrd recently lost a City Council race and continues to face criticism for what some would call “extreme views.”

Climate Correction

The Volo Foundation is presenting its 4th annual Climate Correction event this week in Orlando. It's the premier annual conference in the U.S. focused on driving innovative solutions to climate change. This year's event will address food systems that provide solutions.
