A new poll finds that 56 percent of Americans and more than 60 percent of Floridians favor changing U.S. policy toward Cuba.
The poll by the Atlantic Council also finds that 64 percent of adults in Miami-Dade County, where the largest concentration of Cuban-Americans live, support normalizing relations.
The findings add to previous research showing the Cuban-American community increasingly favors engagement with the Communist-led island.
The Atlantic Council is a non-partisan think-tank based in Washington D.C. that focuses on global security and economics.
