Jacksonville City Councilman Bill Bishop Running For GOP Mayoral Nod

The city’s mayoral election is more than a year away, but the candidates are already off and running.Mayor Alvin Brown, a Democrat, of course will seek re-election. Meanwhile, two prominent local Republicans have thrown their hats in the ring to seek their party’s nomination, including Jacksonville City Councilman Bill Bishop.

Bishop, former council president, is also an architect, and he has a vision to take the city in a different direction.

He joined Melissa Ross to discuss his race for mayor and take your calls.
