A new report says Americans are more at odds with each other politically than ever before.Voters are heading to the polls today in seven states with primary contests and some closely watched runoff elections on the ballots. The elections come as a new report just out from the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press finds political polarization is now deeply embedded in the United States — more so than at any time in recent history.
This rancor has gotten so bitter that partisans on both sides now see the other party as an actual threat to the nation’s well-being.
Mike Binder, professor of political science at the University of North Florida, Peter Schorsch, author of SaintPetersBlog and POLITICO reporter Katie Glueck joined Melissa Ross to look at America’s extreme polarization and share some thoughts about how the lay of the land is affecting Florida.
