Additionally, civil liberty groups have already said they will challenge a new anti riot bill in court after Governor DeSantis signed it into law. Affordable Care Act
Enrollment in Florida for the Affordable Care Act continues to be robust. And, with the new tax credits set up by the Biden administration under the American Rescue Plan, many of the policies available at HealthCare.gov are now free, or almost free. Kelly James is the Director of the Florida Blue Center for Health Policy and joined us with more.
A protected estuary comprising the Guana Lake and the Guana River is showing signs of pollution. Scientists, however, are hopeful that the shellfish can help restore local water quality. And, a $595,000 grant that will fund a massive multi-agency, multi-year effort led by Dr. Ashley Smyth, a scientist at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Tropical Research and Education Center. She talked about the matter in today’s “Going Green.”
