Florida Gains In New Census; Women's Safety; Edible's Latest Issue; Author Martha Beck

Florida is about to become a more powerful player in national politics based on Census reapportionment numbers released Monday, with the state picking up a new congressional seat.

While the gain isn’t as big as predicted, it's still an important increase.  Mike Binder, head of UNF’s Public OpinionResearch Lab, explained why.

Women's Safety 

The Women’s Center of Jacksonvillehas an important new tool to track assault cases.   Executive Director Teresa Miles from the Women's Center and Office of the State Attorney Special Victims Unit Director Adair Newman joined us with a look.
