FSCJ Confirms 2 Coronavirus Cases

A student attending FSCJ's Kent Campus (pictured) has been confirmed as testing positive for COVID-19.

Florida State College at Jacksonville confirmed its first cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

FSCJ officials said an employee who works at the college’s South Campus on Beach Boulevard and a student who’s enrolled in one class at the Kent Campus on Jacksonville’s westside have tested positive.

Neither has been to those campuses since the first week of March.

Employees who are feeling overwhelmed or anxious are urged to reach out to the school’s employee assistance program.

The community college has been teaching all classes online-only since March 23.
