The Jacksonville Retirement Reform Task Force convened Thursday morning today at City Hall to debate a series of options for reforming the city’s overburdened pension system.Their goal is figuring out how to pay down a $1.7 billion dollar unfunded liability that’s only expected to grow over time.
Steve Rankin, program director at Jacksonville Community Council Inc. (JCCI), joined Melissa Ross to discuss why pension reform is important to the city of Jacksonville.
