NEWS SERVICE OF FLORIDA

The Florida Supreme Court has rejected a challenge to the state’s medical marijuana law.

The ruling keeps in place a system known as vertical integration. This means that only a small number of growers can make money in the cannabis business.  Sally Kent Peebles, a partner with Vicente Sederberg and a member of the state’s Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee, joined us with more.

Summer Reading

Summer learning began Tuesday at the Jacksonville Public Library. Spokesman Chris Boivin joined us to share all the fun going on at your local public library.

St. Johns River Activation

A new month has started, which means conversations about plans to activate the St John’s riverfront will continue. Jimmy Orth, Executive Director, St. Johns Riverkeeper and  Claire Weisz, Founding Principal of New York-based Architecture, Planning, and Design firm WXY Studio joined us with their thoughts.

Duval Sports
