If you drive the Southbank at night along Prudential Drive get ready for a detour.
An asphalt paving project will result in traffic changes on Monday, March 18, and Tuesday, March 19, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Motorists traveling east on Prudential Drive will be detoured to northbound San Marco Boulevard to eastbound Museum Circle to southbound Riverplace Boulevard.
On March 19, motorists traveling west on Prudential Drive will be detoured to northbound Riverplace Boulevard, to westbound Museum Circle to southbound San Marco Boulevard. One direction of traffic will remain open on Prudential Drive.
The Florida Department of Department says message boards and detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.
The paving is part of a larger project along Prudential Drive and Kings Avenue that is expected to be completed in the spring.
