We live in a constantly growing city. From expansion of apartment buildings and self-storage units, to a big jump in the growth of local restaurants, Jacksonville is exploding with growth. However, some residents seem to be opposed to the city's expansion.

Guest:  Karen Brune Mathis, editor, Jax Daily Record.

VyStar Credit Union

VyStar Credit Union is expanding into Georgia. The financial institution is also working to recover from issues in the last previous months.

Guest: Brian Wolfburg, CEO, VyStar.

Bird safety

Birds migrate up and down the eastern U.S. twice a year, in the fall and spring; however, passing through cities like Jacksonville can be a deadly affair. The national Lights Out initiative is trying to make the endeavor safer, with Lights Out Northeast Florida launching in Jacksonville in 2019.

Guest: Raymon Troncoso, WJCT News reporter.

904 Day

This Sunday, Sept. 4, is the day to show off your local pride for 904 day. 904 Day gives the community a chance to support local businesses and have a little fun on Labor Day Weekend.
