The U.S. Supreme Court.

Nick Allard, dean at the Jacksonville University College of Law, joined us with a preview of the Supreme Court’s new session, and how it might affect Floridians.

First Coast Connect Book Club

Our facilitator, Stacey Goldring, joined us with more on "Heartburn," this month’s Book Club selection, and why she chose it.

Benjamin Harvey

Jacksonville native Benjamin Harvey, founder and CEO of AI Squared, a tech firm that helps companies adopt artificial intelligence, gave a speech earlier in the week at the Center of Hope at Emmett Reed Center as part of a Youth Empowerment Speaker Series. He joined us, along with Vicki Waytowich with the Partnership for Child Health, which is supporting the speaker series, to discuss the series, as well as his latest endeavors

Blood donations

Blood donors are needed every day to make sure blood is available to help patients in local hospitals. And with blood supplies already low, Ian could not have come at a worse time, as one of the things it affected was much-needed blood drives around the state and region. James Skahn, district community development coordinator of LifeSouth, joined us with details about how to help those in need.
