Joe McLean of WJXT Channel 4 has been covering the story and joined us with the latest.

Infertility

This week is National Infertility Awareness Week. So, we spoke with Dr. Lina Fouad, a reproductive surgical specialist at Brown Fertility in Jacksonville, for a closer look at the issue.

The quiet epidemic

"The Quiet Epidemic," a new documentary looking at the toll of Lyme disease and the controversy some patients face in getting an accurate diagnosis, will be shown at the University of North Florida on Thursday.

Dr. Kerry Clark, professor of epidemiology and environmental health at UNF, and Dr. Shirley Hartman, a family physician and Lyme disease specialist, joined us with a preview.

North Florida TPO

The North Florida TPO, in concert with Atkins, is completing a regional bicycle and pedestrian master plan to identify gaps and opportunities to connect sidewalks, paved trails and paved bicycle facilities throughout Northeast Florida. As part of this study citizens in Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns Counties are being asked for their opinion via an electronic survey that will be open until May 14. Jeff Sheffield, executive director of the North Florida TPO, joined us with details.
