Duval County Schools Superintendent Diana Greene speaks at a news conference on June 14, 2021.

Our media roundtable discussed the biggest stories of the week. Joining us were Claire Heddles of Jacksonville Today, Nate Monroe of the Florida Times-Union, Ben Becker of Action News Jax, and blogger and regular contributor Fred Matthews.

Among the topics:

Sing Out Loud Festival

The Sing Out Loud Festival is back — and bigger than ever.

The festival will return this September with the first-ever Francis Field Showcase in Downtown St. Augustine, featuring performances by The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers, Lord Huron and more.

St. Johns County residents can purchase tickets before anyone else, starting today.

Dianya Markovits, project manager for the Sing Out Loud Festival, filled us in.
