Being a frontline caregiver is a demanding role that carries no financial compensation and can take a toll, both emotionally and physically. While the work is driven by love, it accumulates to an estimated $600 million in unpaid labor each year. Today, we discuss the possibility of a $5,000 federal tax credit intended to support and compensate working caregivers.
