On today’s First Coast Connect, we discuss the legacy of former Florida Gov. and U.S. Sen. Bob Graham and how state politics have changed since his time. Attorney and local government expert Chris Hand served as Graham’s press secretary and speechwriter. Hand joins us as he does each month to talk about the latest in local and state politics.

Then, Amelia Island Dance Festival steps up its routine in collaboration with the Atlanta Dance Connection. The dance troupe is working to build a performance around the story of American Beach, a historic Black beach created in the Jim Crow South.
