Drew Kohn was often called a miracle after surviving a motorcycle accident that nearly claimed his life. Despite his being told he would never walk or talk again, Drew’s mother refused to believe the diagnosis and fought for his recovery. After a 244-day coma, Drew began a slow journey of learning to walk and talk, a process documented by First Coast News over a period of years. A tragic accident claimed Kohn’s life last Friday, but his mother says those seven years were a gift for which she can only be grateful. She joins us to discuss his life and remarkable legacy, along with the reporter who documented Kohn’s recovery at every step.
