Nemours’ Pediatric Acute Telemental Health program — or PATH — aims to improve response time for kids experiencing mental health crises. Through the pilot telemental health program, First Coast families are able to schedule video visits for a variety of mental health issues affecting children, including depression, anxiety, even urgent neurological disorders. The program boasts a 90% successful transfer rate into long-term care or additional support in schools.
