A few weeks before the election, the students of The Political Forum at Flagler College joined First Coast Connect to discuss their efforts to foster civil, nonpartisan conversations about politics and current events. Now that the Nov. 5 dust has settled, we ask them for their takeaways and about the group’s future plans.

Plus, some of the country's most renowned interior design experts headline the 2024 First Coast Design Show, celebrating the Art of Style at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center, Dec. 6-8 . The annual event raises money for Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville.

Anne Schindler joined WJCT News 89.9 as host of First Coast Connect in October 2023, after nearly three decades in Jacksonville print and television.
