The Anastasia Mosquito Control District board gave themselves holiday bonuses this month, something they’ve done for at least the past six years. That practice was ended by the district’s attorney, D.A. Amy Myers, who determined the bonuses likely exceeded the board's authority. We’ll hear from the reporter who broke the story about how the bonus began and grew, and whether board members could face consequences.
