Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis looks on as his wife, Casey DeSantis, speaks at a campaign event in Bluffton, South Carolina, on June 2, 2023.

Another DeSantis-Trump rift emerges, this time over the governor’s succession plan. We learn what’s behind the battle following the president’s endorsement of congressman Byron Donald and a seeming (posthumous) endorsement of Casey DeSantis by the late talk show radio host Rush Limbaugh. We also discuss what to expect from the upcoming Florida legislative session, Jacksonville’s continuing pension woes and what state-level “DOGE” plans could mean for residents and state workers.

Guest:

  • Chris Hand,  Jacksonville attorney, author and government expert.

And, it wasn’t on his 2025 bingo card, but Jason Roth is now the owner of an iconic vintage store. We ask him about his new plans for selling retro finds.
