Then, a dream more than 30 years in the making is realized with the formal unveiling of the reconstructed Fort Mose. And, "A Celebration of Local Talent” opens in Amelia Island. The exhibition at the Amelia Art Studio showcases the creativity of local artists Asher Cobb, Heidi Dinius, Danielle Dumont, Andrea Jones and Lauren Templeton, with works ranging from expressionist paintings to illustrations. The show opens May 16 with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m.
