Florida lawmakers remain at an impasse over the state budget, pushing this year’s legislative session well into overtime. As Gov. Ron DeSantis doubles down on his position to roll back property taxes, legislators in the House seek to reduce sales tax instead, creating doubt the budget will be finalized by the June 30 deadline.
