Then, a 1959 play captures a modern audience. The surreal, avant garde Rhinoceros, by playwright Eugène Ionesco, explores the dangers of political tyranny in a play originally written to highlight fears of fascism in the run-up to World War II. The show runs through June 15 at St. Augustine’s Limelight Theatre.
