Nearly half of Floridians report experiencing sleeplessness, many relying on over-the-counter drugs and supplements like melatonin to catch up on rest. We meet a sleep psychologist who recommends ditching medications and tech gimmicks to nurture our relationship with sleep. She offers a gentler approach to “sleep hygiene” for those who suffer from insomnia and sleep deprivation and joins us ahead of her TEDxJacksonville presentation Jan. 17.
