Jaguars Defensive End Calais Campbell Can Now Add 'Mayor' To His Title

Jacksonville Jaguars’ Defensive End Calais Campbell has a new title.

The honor was bestowed on him Friday by Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry.

“Now, therefore, I Lenny Curry, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of Jacksonville, Florida, do hereby recognize Jacksonville Jaguars Defensive End Calais Campbell as Mayor of Sacksonville.”

That’s right. Mayor of "Sacksonville."  That’s because Campbell holds the Jaguars single-season sack record. He earned it during Jacksonville’s 30-to-10 victory over Indianapolis last Sunday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars face the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon at EverBank Field.
