Florida drivers can expect to see a lot more troopers on state roadways over the holidays.
The Florida Highway Patrol says all of its uniformed personnel, including those normally assigned to desk-duty, will be patrolling the interstates and major state roads looking for impaired and aggressive drivers.
In addition to acting as a deterrent to dangerous driving, the FHP says troopers will also be helping motorists who break down or need other assistance.
