Jamal Wilson discusses The Hall on Franklin.
Before Armature Works and Sparkman Wharf, there wasThe Hall on Franklin. Its 2017 opening in Tampa Heights brought the food hall concept to Tampa, with items ranging from poké bowls, to fried chicken and waffles, to something called the Sleazy Sundae.
Developer Jamal Wilson stopped by the studios of WUSF's food podcast, The Zest, to discuss how he’s reinventing the concept of food halls. Wilson is currently developing another food hall in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village.
