Florida Democrats have cast 100,000 more ballots than Republicans but that gap is expected to shrink on Election Day. Samuel Santiago is the Florida Campaign Manager for All Voting is local. He expects the total number of ballots between the two major parties to be close and believes the election will be decided by those who aren’t registered to either party.

"We actually expect that this election will be decided by aisle crossers, Republicans who vote for Biden or Democrats who vote for Trump, as well as independent or NPA votes," said Santiago. "We’ve seen interesting margin particularly suggesting that Joe Biden has a lead with NPA votes as well as aisle crossers."

Democrats have a large advantage in mail-in ballots as opposed to Republicans who have done the majority of in-person voting.
