New Beaches traffic devices could help you cross the street

New devices called "pedestrian hybrid beacons" will stop traffic only when pedestrians need to cross. The first ones are appearing in Neptune and Jacksonville Beaches.

The ranks of bicycle commuters are growing, though men are almost three times more likely than women to ride to work.

The U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in traffic safety grants to Jacksonville, Atlantic Beach and Palatka.
