'Jeannie' Star Barbara Eden Brings Magic To The Alhambra

a beloved performer, Barbara Eden created one of the most iconic television characters of the 20th century.The "I Dream of Jeannie" star is starring now in the Alhambra Theatre production of "Social Security."

It’s the latest in a long line of roles for the actress, who is also a New York Times bestselling author. She of course first shot to fame with the classic NBC series that costarred Larry Hagman and featured a genie, a bottle, and of course one unforgettable costume.

Barbara Eden joined Melissa Ross in studio to talk acting, living with "Jeannie," and the sexual politics of the 1960's and 1970's.
