A long-vacant building on King Street across the street from The Garage is showing some new signs of life.
Bearded Buffalo Brewing Company, the newest creation from Scott McAlister, is looking to open in the first quarter of 2017.
McAlister's other entertainment venues include The Garage, Loft and Rogue in Riverside's King Street district.
The King Street location will operate as a taproom, brewing facility and restaurant. McAlister is also looking to open a second location on Blanding Boulevard that will operate as a brewing facility, restaurant and bowling alley.
Both locations will serve food, ranging from pizza to buffalo chicken wings. The King Street location will only be able to accommodate about 24 seats, while the Blanding Boulevard location has a capacity of about 300.
