Palatka man sought in murder case: Kevin Daniels, 34, is being sought after police said he shot and killed another man and tried to shoot the mother of his children, all while eight children were in the home early Tuesday morning. (News4Jax)

Rayne Perrywinkle responds: Rayne Perrywinkle, mother of Cherish Perrywinkle, is speaking out for the first time since September after articles this quoting a licensed social worker who says Perrywinkle's two children should be put up for adoption. (Florida Times-Union)

Operation Ceasefire areas have high unemployment: The areas of Jacksonville currently the focus of a special operation to decrease violence are the same places where jobless rates are highest. (First Coast News)

GOP will not appeal redistricting ruling, asks for delay: The Republican-controlled Florida State Legislature will not appeal a court ruling invalidating the state's congressional districts, but legislative leaders have asked that the current map be kept through this year's midterm elections. Scientists push Scott on climate change: Ten prominent Florida scientists on Tuesday asked for an opportunity to explain the impact human-induced global climate change will have on Florida to Governor Rick Scott. (Tampa Bay Times)
