Fifth Congressional District candidate Democrat Dave Bruderly was our guest Thursday on First Coast Connect. He spoke with host Melissa Ross about why he decided to run for Congress and the issues he’s focusing on.
In the first of our new segment “Rising Stars,” we spoke with William Hoang, 27, of TTV Architects, he is the youngest certified architect in Jacksonville.
Dave Bruderly
When Bruderly learned that, as a Democrat, he wouldn’t be able to vote for Congress since the Republican primary was closed, he decided to run. He says he wants to give voters a real choice in the contest between him and former Sheriff John Rutherford when they decide who will replace the retiring Ander Crenshaw. Bruderly is an engineer, veteran and advocate for the environment.
William Hoang
He’s the youngest architect in town. Hoang of TTV Architects, Inc. is already a rising star in his field.
He graduated with honors from University of Houston in 2012 with a Bachelors of Architecture and in 2010-2011 he was accepted by Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-La Villette (the French national Architecture school in Paris) to become a student in their full immersion program. He spoke about his career and new ideas in architecture.
