Over the weekend, Jacksonville City Councilman Matt Carlucci called for a grand jury investigation into JEA.

He joined us to explain why.

'It’s Huge'

Filmmaker Nadia Ramotaur followed five Jacksonville men around with a camera for an entire year. She was documenting their efforts to lose at least 100 pounds.

The resulting film, called It’s Huge, tells the story of how challenging obesity, a complex disease, can be- and how hard it is in this society to lose weight. Ramotaur joined us along with Dr. Timothy McCormick, who appears in the film, to tell us more about it.

Connecting Thru Music

Karen Demuth, Executive Director of Connecting Thru Music, which provides musical therapy for kids with special needs, joined us along with her board chair, Dr. Nancy Staats, to discuss their work in more detail.

Cole Pepper

Cole Pepper joined us with a recap of the Jaguars 20-16 victory over the Raiders, along with the rest of the latest local sports news.
