President Trump speaks about the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg after a campaign rally on Friday.

President Donald Trump paid no income taxes in 10 of the last 15 years due to losing much more money than he made, according to a New York Times investigation of tax information it obtained.

In 2017, after he became president, his tax bill was only $750 dollars, according to the Times.  The Times reported the president used measures being questioned to reduce his tax bill, including a $72.9 million tax refund that is the subject of an audit by the IRS.

The co-founder of the The Lincoln Project, Mike Madrid, joined us with his thoughts on Trump’s tax situation and track record. Madrid is among the Republicans that want to see Trump defeated in the November election.

Florida Restaurants

With Gov. Ron DeSantis announcing that Florida restaurants and bars are once again allowed to open at full capacity, some physicians and public health experts worry this will cause a spike in new COVID cases.  Dr. Matthew Thompson, co-founder and COO of Telescope Health in Jacksonville joined us with his take.

Drive-In Movie

This Thursday, Sun-Ray Cinema will host a free drive-in screening of Us Kids.  It’s a new documentary covering the youth activism that rose up after the Parkland mass shooting. Sun-Ray’s co-owner Shana David-Masset joined us with details.
