ates a vision for the site of the former Jacksonville Landing.

A Chicago design firm won a contest to create a new vision for the site of the former Jacksonville Landing. It includes a huge public art sculpture made out of metal.

The sculpture which some interpret as JAX but others have interpreted as spelling out everything “lerp” to "lax," has raised lots of discussion, both for and against the art.

Now, new questions have arisen about the fate of this ambitious piece.  Bill Delaney is the editor and co-owner at our partner The Jaxson. He joined us with more details.

GuideWell, Florida Blue’s parent company, has acquired the Blue Cross Blue Shield plan of Puerto Rico for $900 million in equity value.  Pat Geraghty, CEO of Guidewell and Florida Blue spoke to us about the acquisition.

Care Connect+

Care Connect+, a social health organization led by Flagler Health, announced a partnership with Clay County District Schools Wednesday that will increase access to mental health services for the more than 40,000 students in all of the district’s 42 schools. Clay joins St John’s, Putnam and Nassau Counties in partnering with Care Connect Plus to provide these services for youth in the Northeast Florida school districts. John Eaton, Executive Director of Care Connect Plus, talked to us about it.
