Naval Air Station Jacksonville will be holding training exercises Tuesday, Oct. 6, through Thursday, Oct. 8.
The Westside Jacksonville base announced Monday the drills could include simulated explosions and simulated gunfire.
NAS Jax warned that people in the area may hear loud noises during the exercises.
The training is aimed at preparing Naval Hospital Jacksonville medical professionals for performing their jobs under battlefield conditions.
