The COVID-19 mask debate in Florida schools continues as Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran threatened to dock Duval schools more money to balance out federal government assistance.

Corcoran issued memos on Tuesday to Florida’s Board of Education requesting that the state hold back both school board member salaries and funds equal to the federal grants aimed at covering those losses. Eleven schools districts are implicated including Duval. The state board meets on this today.

Hill joined us to discuss her advocacy as well as her new “BELIEVING: Our Thirty-Year Journey to End Gender Violence.
