The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Florida launched a new campaign about media literacy Tuesday.

The organization wants to stop the misuse of the term "fake news," so they've trademarked it. Emily Bloch, President, SPJ Florida Pro Chapter and Education Reporter with The Florida Times-Union, joined us for a closer look.

Dyslexia

October is National Dyslexia Awareness Month. Communities across the country are working to raise awareness about the needs of kids and adults with dyslexia.  Annessia Powell, Principal of Jacksonville’s GRASP Academy, joined us with a look at the local focus.

Claws for a Cause

Cool Moose Cafe is known for its popular brunch at the corner of Park and King in Avondale. But this weekend, they’re serving up some delicious claws for a cause - lobster claws that is. Cafe owner Laurie Jarvis gave us a preview.
