8/28/19: City Council Meeting; Cannabis; Permaculture; First Coast Success

An extraordinary scene last night at a meeting of the Jacksonville City Council.

The Council ordered the removal of the public from the chamber as members prepared to vote on a controversial issue involving school funding.  The Florida Times-Union reporter David Bauerlein was there, and joined us with more.

Cannabis Update

There's also lots going on with cannabis here in the Sunshine State this week. Sally Peebles, a Partner at Vicente Sederberg, and member of the state’s Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee; and Shelton Hull, a writer who covers cannabis for Folio Weekly, joined us with an update.
