The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is moving its annual Brew at the Zoo event from this fall to next spring.

The fundraiser is now scheduled for Friday, May 15, with tickets going on sale in January.

Zoo officials said they wanted to be able to offer guests 21-and-older some new experiences.

That doesn’t mean there’s nothing for folks of legal age to do at the zoo now.

This Friday night, gates open at 6:30 for Dancing Through the Decades — the final Night at the Zoo event of the summer.

That fundraiser will feature live music, local food trucks and spirits provided by local brewers, distillers and wineries.

Tickets are only available ahead of time on the zoo’s website.
