Duval Poll Worker Tests Positive For COVID-19; Precinct Voters Being Contacted

A Duval County poll worker has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Duval’s Supervisor of Elections office confirmed the individual worked on March 17 at Freedom Christian Fellowship Church on Loretto Road during Florida's presidential primary.

The results of a coronavirus test came back Monday as positive.

Church staff and other poll workers have been notified and were advised to take appropriate steps.

Duval officials said the 360 voters who cast ballots at the Loretto Road location on Election Day will be contacted by mail or phone in the coming days.
