MOO-VE IT 5K
The MOO-VE IT 5K takes place this Saturday, Feb. 22. The run benefits the Jacksonville Arts & Music School (JAMS). JAMS is a creative youth development organization that provides arts education and leadership development to students grades 3-10 from underserved communities in Jacksonville. JAMS Executive Director Jason Peoples joined us.
Dr. Saumil Oza, chief of cardiology at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside, is leading a trial to test the first wireless pacemaker, called the WiSE CRT System.The pacemaker is installed in the left ventricle of the heart in cardiac patients who don’t respond to traditional treatment. The pacemaker could be lifesaving.
