All employees should report to work as normal, but Curry added he understands there may be some child care concerns.
“If employees have children and cannot find alternative childcare, we will count this as an excused absence,” the mayor said.

Duval County Public Schools Superintendent Diana Greene said schools will reopen to students on Friday.
“All 12-month employees and essential personnel should plan to report to work tomorrow as normal. Principals will first check the condition of their schools. Once they know there schools are ready to open they will all report to shelter locations to assist in working to return those schools back to normal,” Greene said.
Duval County’s public schools provided shelter to 609 evacuees, including 102 with special needs.
Although all Duval public schools will reopen Friday, there will be no football games this weekend.
“In the interest of player safety, we will not be playing football games this week. Football schedule revisions will be posted on our website,” Greene said.
