The Florida Legislature.

The Florida State Legislature convenes on Tuesday for its 60-day annual session with a Republican majority in both houses. And it’s expected to tackle a number of controversial issues from "permitless" carry to affordable housing.

We take a look at some of the high-profile measures that will be considered this session.

13th Annual Autism Symposium 

The University of North Florida will host the 13th Annual Autism Symposium on Wednesday and will feature nationally known speakers to present the latest medical evidence and interventions regarding autism. Topics of discussion will include understanding and addressing stigma-related health disparities for people with an intellectual or developmental disability.
