The Duval County Jail.
The Duval County Jail.

Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters has announced a new health care provider at the Duval County jail. This comes after The Tributary showed an increase in inmate deaths under provider Armor Correctional Health Services. We sat down with Nichole Manna of The Tributary for a closer look.

UF architecture program

Dean Kate Morehead Carol of Saint John’s Cathedral and Ginny Demain Myrick, CEO and president of Cathedral District Jax, spoke with WJCT News 89.9 to discuss the University of Florida’s new graduate program in architecture. This new program will debut in one of Downtown Jacksonville’s most historic churches, the St John’s Episcopal Cathedral.
