City and state representatives have joined forces with local partners to provide community members with mental health resources and information. Mental Health Town Hall 904 is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at River Oak Center, 634 Lomax St. in Jacksonville. State Rep. Angie Nixon and Jimmy Peluso, City Council member for District 7, have more information.

If you or someone you know needs support, call or text 988. To chat, go to 988lifeline.org.

A comedy film festival will take place this weekend right here in Jacksonville. Creators Adam and Monique Madrid are here to tell us more about the LOL JAX Film Festival.

Best Jax events

It’s Thursday eve, so Catalina Selvagn is here now to tell us what Cre8Jax has listed for this weekend and next week. (And remember — to quote Cre8Jax — “only the boring get bored.”)
