With the second overall selection in the 2013 NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel.
Owner Shad Khan, Head Coach Gus Bradley and General Manager Dave Caldwell spoke to a large group of fans attending the annual draft party at Everbank Field shortly after the pick.
They told the crowd they will love the way Joeckel plays.
Bradley says Joeckel was the top player on their board so he's delighted with the selection.
Despite rumors the Jaguars might trade down to get more draft picks, GM David Caldwell says there were only a few inquiries.
The second and third rounds of the NFL draft will be held Friday night, with rounds four through seven on Saturday.
Joeckel started all 39 games of his college career at Texas A&M.
